Why Join?

Members have many opportunities to engage with the community by attending our monthly membership meetings, host our cottage on the weekends, volunteer to assist at our events to name a few.  

Membership meetings are held on the Second Sunday of each Month at 4:30 pm (subject to change) at the House of United States Cottage in Balboa Park, SanDiego, CA.

•            Meet people from other cultures and around the world and see what makes up the beautiful intricate tapestry of the UnitedStates of America.

•            Share your appropriate and special event(s) (new baby, children/student achievements, etc.) for posting on our social media.

•            Connect with others from the House of PacificRelations (HPR) International Cottages in Balboa Park. There are currently 34 nations/cultures represented.

•            Automatically become a member of House of Pacific Relations (HPR).

•            Give back to the community.

•            Front-of-the-line privileges at Lawn Program’s and community events sponsored by the HoUSA. (YES! This includes the International Christmas Festival/December Nights.)

Monthly Membership Meeting:

A monthly meeting, where we give an update on the status of the Organization and future items.

•            Connect with other members who represent a myriad of world cultures.

•            Active Members vote on HoUSA business.

•            Bring guests/potential members.

•            We often bring drinks and food to share.

How do I join?

  1. Complete the Application: Fill out the form below to complete your application today!
  2. Pay membership dues: Dues are $20 per person plus $10 for additional family members.
  3. Board Approval: Your application will be promptly reviewed.

Members are required to hosting our cottages at least three times a year and at one of our major events.
